Where should your Kitchen be located as per Vastu?

The kitchen is an integral part of any Indian household – the real source of our day-long energy. The vital energy that we get from food, is cooked here. So, it plays a very important role when it comes to Kitchen. if it is placed according to the principles of Vastu, can ensure that positive energy flow in that place.

Ideally Kitchen is recommended in South-east direction as it is related to cash flow, Money, but we can also have our kitchen in west which is sector for Gains, On the other hand North-west is a zone of helpful people, whereas North is related to business, Career etc. South is related to Name-Fame; So if we have our objectives clear and considering the attributes of every direction we could place our kitchen or look for a kitchen in that particular direction. And with the help of 5 elements we can balance the energy. Kitchen in South-west direction is never recommended and in fact its believed to have a bad impact on relationships.

People living in a Vastu having their Kitchen in South-west direction have noticed pain in their legs or other issues related to the lower part of their body over a period of time. On the other hand, having kitchen in South-west directions for restaurants is good as it enhances the quality of food.

Important point to consider in Kitchen is the Gas stove and their nobs, as in , which part of the area its positioned at or which directions the nobs are facing. There are the 4 directions which the gas stove must face according to Energy Vastu, and they are East, South East, North and South west. So, You can place your Gas stove in SE sector on the west side platform which will eventually make the nobs face East, or you can keep on the south side so its nob can face North.
